Bareroot Division Manager ~ gpac ~ Modesto, California, USA

A commercial greenhouse is looking for an individual to oversee their Bareroot Tree division. This is a great opportunity to oversee multiple aspects of a division of an industry leader. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operation of production and growing of the bareroot tree program, including but not limited to planting, irrigation, fertilization and chemical applications, plant care and growing functions, harvesting, order processing
* Responsible to oversee and assess labor needs and efficient use of workforce
* Maintain working knowledge of changes and advancements in growing technology
* Adherence to SOP"s
* Assist in preparation and adherence to budgetary guidelines
* Maintain oversight of properly maintained equipment
* Seek/ promote educational opportunities for personal development as well as staff
Requirements:
* 3-5 years experience growing bareroot trees preferred
* Strong organizational skills
* California drivers license
* Strong written and verbal skills
* Basic proficiency with computer programs usage such as spreadsheets and reports
* Bilingual (English/Spanish)

A diversified and profitable private farming operation is currently seeking an experienced Farm Hand. This operation raises corn, soybeans, wheat, and has a cow/calf operation. They are a progressive operation that runs new to late model equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist with the day to day activities on the farm
* Operation of heavy farm equipment: planter, sprayer, combine, loaders, grain truck, etc.
* Assist with cattle feeding
* Doctor/vaccinate cattle
* Loading and unloading grain
* Transportation of grain
Background Requirements:
* Prior experience operating heavy Ag equipment
* Class A CDL or ability to operate semi
* Mechnical aptitude
