Manages the sites Safe Quality Food (SQF) program which includes the following: employee/plant sanitation, PH monitoring, wash/rinse water temperature monitoring, egg temperature monitoring, insect control, rodent control and cooler temperature monitoring.
Ensures that processing plant budget is held to and managed efficiently ensuring continuous operational profitability. Works closely with the controller to maintain accurate operating records in order to formulate future sound operating budgets.
Partners with maintenance in the areas of OSHA and safety compliance. Inspects and identifies safety areas of opportunity and coordinates with maintenance to ensure the correction of these problems.
Manages the record keeping on all monitoring that goes on in the plant to include wash water, rinse water PH, sanitizer and refrigerated cooler temperatures. Also reviews all maintenance records that are required.
Partners with other organization leaders participating in facility audits to include: SQF, USDA, FDA, organic and environmental. Collects and presents all documentation to the auditor.

Helps drive all of BFFs Environment Management Systems (EMS) in an impactful manner to include monitoring/reducing operationally related negative effects on the environment as well as pollution prevention. A successful candidate for the Processing Manager will possess the following:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Must be able to work on an on-call basis and be able to work beyond normal working hours.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be fully flexible - able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.
Compensation: Depending on experience, compensation will likely be in the $55K-65K range.

Heavy Equipment Parts Manager ~ gpac ~ DeLand, Florida, USA

We have currently partnered up with an amazing company and they are looking for a Heavy Equipment Parts Manager to come and join their team!
The Parts Manager holds a variety of responsibilities, overseeing the daily operations of the Parts Department which include meeting budget goals, management of the department employees and inventory, and developing loyal customer relations - all to continually improve the functions and efficiency of the department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Store Manager, this position:
* Accountable for the overall performance of the department including meeting revenue, gross margin, and profit & loss goals as defined in the annual and monthly profit plan
* Responsible for managing relationships with the customers
* Provides leadership, guidance, coaching, and direction to the parts staff to achieve department goals, by promoting the company vision, mission, and culture
* Follows established company policies and procedures, especially with respect to parts, invoicing, credit, parts inventory management, and purchasing
* Responsible for the management of the department inventory, parts, displays, and merchandising
* Responsible for recruitment, hiring, training, firing and discipline to ensure that the parts department is staffed with competent employees (within approved budgets and StoreManager approval)
* Makes recommendations to the Store Manager on staffing and compensation requirements within the department
* Informs Store Manager in a timely manner of any issues related to the parts operations of the location
* Attends required meeting as scheduled
* Responsible for any other duties that may be assigned by the Store Manager
Job Skills:
The Parts Manager must:
* Possess the leadership and managerial ability to lead and direct a team of parts employees to achieve the department operating goals
* Have extensive knowledge of agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, and construction equipment parts, and related supplies and materials within his/her local market area
* Be capable of interpreting data from financial and understand cost, overhead, and margin requirements to achieve the financial goals as determined in the annual operating budget
* Maintain and cultivate a professional relationship with fellow employees, company owners, customers, and product vendors
* Be computer literate and possess the ability to learn and utilize software such as CDK, manufacturer"s parts systems, spreadsheets, and email
* Be able to safely operate a forklift truck while loading and unloading parts
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED required
* Bachelor"s or Associate"s degree in related field is preferred
* Minimum of three-years progressive experience in Heavy Equipment, Construction Equipment, or Farm equipment parts operations

* Valid driver"s license
