Agronomy Vice President
The Agronomy Vice President will provide direction and leadership to agronomy locations by driving agronomy sales and operational strategies with the objective of maximizing growth and profitability to the organization. Essential duties responsibilities include the following:
Understand and analyze marketplace trends and drive market share growth through strategic planning and budgeting
Drive use of customer relationship software to track, analyze, and report on grower needs and opportunities
Set targets for sales growth for lines of business, products, and by area/location
Develop focused strategies on gross margin improvement, developing and growing brand identity
Lead direct reports performance metrics and coach for improvement
Procurement of all agronomy inputs including fertilizer, chemical, seed, and precision ag
All pricing and margin setting for all agronomy departments and locations
Collaborate with other leadership, including operations, sales, and logistics to establish and execute responsibilities
Provide updates to leadership team as needed
Establish and control annual department budget and authorize expenditures
Provide leadership to team by establishing goals and objectives, evaluating performance, supporting learning and development, and communicating effectively
Leadership Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include PL, team building, development, vision, solid judgment, integrity, demonstrate common sense and solid business instincts, multi-task, relate with and interact with other business divisions.

Education and/or experience: Bachelor"s degree and at least 10 years in a management position and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Whats in it for you:

Coaching and directing an already successful team A successful candidate for this Agronomy Vice President will possess the following:
Bachelors degree in agriculture with proven successes in the industry
Solid marketing skill set and leaderships of a sales team
Demonstrate solid communication skills, computer skills and decision-making skills
CCA or Advanced degree or education
Connections within the industry
Compensation: $150-200K with opportunity for bonus plan
