Organic Chemist / Processing Manager
Ag 1 Source is looking for a qualified candidate to work as a Processing Manager/ Organic Chemist in a growing cannabis market in the midwest.
This is a company that has proven itself to be leading edge and progressive in the industry. We are looking for an Organic Chemist/ Processing Manager to lead and supervise the extraction process of some of the highest quality cannabis plants in the industry today. The qualified individual will need to have at least 6 years of experience dealing in a similar role but it can be from another industry. Whats in it for you:

You will be working with a team of professionals on extraction of oils from different species of plants.
You will supervise the entire extraction process from start to finish.
You"ll work through the process of developing edibles.
You"ll work with the formulators to achieve high quality edibles.
You will be using modern machinery and equipment to process the plants. A successful candidate for this Organic Chemist position will possess the following:
You will need an understanding of organic compounds and how it relates to the environment.
You will have great knowledge of chemical compositions and formulations.
We"d like a background out of one of these industries: brewing, oil gas (petroleum), pharmacy, biotech, chemical or agriculture.
You should have a Masters or PhD in Organic Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry or Chemistry.
Lab experience working with extractions
Compensation: The company will offer $80-110K for the right candidate that meets the expectations of our client.
