Sales Representative
Ag 1 Source is looking for a sales representative to call on grain elevators and large framing operations where the latest technologies in safety and quality control can be implemented. This organization has developed an entire platform of military-grade sensor technology that provides real-time bin management solutions to measure grain and food quality as they are stored, transported, and sold.
The ability of this product to improve the efficiency and traceability of the food industry is already making waves. They are therefore seeking a representative to bring this technology to market with grain operations through the Midwest, lead their sales effort throughout the Midwest, and bring this technology to the operations where food quality and identity preservation starts. Develop and implement an account acquisition strategy for your market and determine processes to achieve your goals and objectives
Participate in key tradeshows and industry events to enable and support customer/brand marketing strategies
Provide direction and insight to cross functional teams to drive business growth and customer satisfaction What you will be doing:
Grow the organization"s customer base by consulting with grain industry leaders and organizations on strategies to improve grain quality and traceability with technology
With a focus on Midwest grain operations, you will travel throughout region, with emphasis on IN, IL, IA, MN, NE
This role enables you to be a key player in the future of grain industry, and participate in national grain and food industry events
Implement a unique sales strategy for each market that meets the different crop, market, and operational needs of each region
Work directly with an international team to convert early proof-of-concept projects into critical solutions which major food companies can depend upon. A successful candidate for this Grain Industry Sales Representative will possess the following:
Candidates will need a basic understanding of grain facilities, storage operations, and transportation
Proven sales ability and experience, with emphasis on building business and territory management.
A desire to grow a market from the ground up, and develop a footprint in the grain sector for this exciting new technology
A passion for new technology, and excitement to be part of a new organization
Compensation: This position includes a base salary, aggressive commission structure, and equity potential in the organization, making it a very compelling offer!
Benefits: The organization has a benefits reimbursement program that allows individuals to choose their own benefits provider, and get those expenses reimbursed by the company.
Desired Location: This sales representative role is ideally based in Iowa to efficiently cover the region, but the candidate can live anywhere in the corn belt provided they are willing to increase travel time to meet the market needs.
