- Basic computer skills JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a dairy operation located in Alberta, Canada, who is searching for a Herdsman for their facility. Herdsman is responsible for the supervision and scheduling of 6-7 employees and will oversee the Parlor and Milkers and must have strong herd health skills to be able to spot, diagnose, and treat sick cows. Will be responsible for all cow care, including youngstock and making decisions on culling cows. This position is also responsible for managing inventory and ordering supplies and must communicate with the crop manager. The employer is looking for someone who would run the dairy as if it were their own. There are no breeding or feeding responsibilities with this position but will be responsible for 1 milking every 14 days. Dairy uses Dairy Comp 305. ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
