A well-established farming operation is looking for a Safety Supervisor to implementing the company"s policies and expectations throughout their farms. Apply today!
Responsibilities:
* Plan and implement effective training programs and improve the program application as needed.
* Collaborate with management to identify company training needs and schedule training sessions.
* Work directly with supervisors to identify employees that need to improve their performance, maintain good people, and track employee productivity.
* Work with management to prepare hard copy training materials such as videos, presentations, and fliers.
* Provide for workers: ice, water, restrooms, proper posters, PPE, trash, break trailers
* Supervise and implement safety procedures on the ranch: proper use of equipment, employee safety, injury and accident reports, issuing warnings, transporting injured employees.
* Collaborate with management to develop monitoring systems to ensure that all employees are performing job responsibilities according to training
Requirements:
* Speak, write, and communicate effectively in Spanish
* Previous experience working in Ag Safety
* Honest, respectful, and strong leadership skills
* Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions
* Communicate and supervise effectively
* Ability to plan, deliver, execute, and support operations
* Superior drive to learn, improve, and be a team player
