- High School diploma or GED at minimum; Agronomy degree highly beneficial
- At least 1 year experience with Ag chem application
- State of Nebraska Commercial Applicator license or ability to obtain
- Class A CDL or ability to obtain
- Good working knowledge of Southern Nebraska crops and water management as well as Ag chemicals, fertilizer and seed
- Experience with Precision Ag products and systems beneficial
- Self-directed personality with strong customer service focus and business analysis
- Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Performance-driven individual who also excels working within a team atmosphere
- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Valid driver license
- Ability to work extended hours seasonally
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced Agronomy Operations individual for a Premier Crop Production area located in Southern Nebraska. Along with operating a new John Deere or Case sprayer with 120' booms and dry air machine, this individual will scout crops and make Ag chem recommendations directly to Ag growers. In off-season, this individual will also be tasked with trucking, mixing and loading Ag chem for aerial operators, preparing work orders and other operational duties.
