JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Well-Established Ag Retailer seeking an Experienced Sales Agronomist for a location in Eastern Nebraska. Primary duties to include calling on area Ag growers to consult on their crops and to make appropriate Ag chem, fertilizer and seed recommendations. This Agronomist will also offer Precision Ag services as well as facilitating the logistics of custom application equipment and product to his/her customers. Additional duties to include:
- Maintaining current Ag grower customer base
- Developing new Ag grower customers
- Maintaining excellent customer satisfaction
- Handling complaints and other issues professionally
- Developing and implementing Agronomy marketing for location
- Working closely with upper management to keep them apprised of current sales trends and/or issues in the field as well as to discuss current and upcoming product promotions
- Ensuring proper billing procedures and complying with credit policies of Employer
- Helping to maintain and promote a healthy and safe work environment
- Assisting Agronomy operations personnel, assisting field scouts and assisting other divisional personnel as needed
