Plant Manager
Ag 1 Source is looking for a Plant Manager with a family-owned organization at their new state of the art beef processing facility. If you have ground beef leadership experience, value a people-oriented work environment, and desire to run your own plant. The role has direct access to the senior leadership team. This role is a hands-on position and requires a large portion of time in the plant as opposed to the office. The successful candidate will provide the hands-on leadership, experience, and guidance needed to be best-in-class. The candidate will drive efficiencies in operations to allow the organization to be a reliable, stable, and cost-effective partner to our customers. Whats in it for you:

Oversee all daily operations of the plant.
Responsible for employee safety, food safety, production output, and product quality to optimize operations.
Develop and lead team member activities to achieve organizational objectives.
Develop systems and processes to track and maximize productivity, measure standards, meet performance targets and ensure effective return on assets. A successful candidate for this Plant Manager role will possess the following:
Five years experience in ready-to-eat meat industry, preferably ground beef.
Proven history of successfully leading operations, ensuring product quality, establishing production efficiencies, food safety, cost reduction, product development, workflow analysis, and financial reporting.
Bachelor"s degree in Meat Science, Food Science, or related field.
History of creating and accomplishing KPI targets, driving efficiency in operations.
Compensation: The Plant Managers salary will be commensurate with market standards with an aggressive bonus program.
