- Able to build solid relationships with team members, vendors, and customers JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a well-established Ag Employer in their search for an Equipment Technical Specialist to help develop and maintain all aspects of the COMPANY's livestock equipment portfolio. The Equipment Technical Specialist will develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the equipment to enable them to provide support for installation, operation, trouble-shooting and repair.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide equipment installation guidance to sub-contractors to ensure proper installation and operation
- Assist site owners with proper understanding of equipment operation, troubleshooting and maintenance
- Determine the root cause of equipment failures and propose corrective actions
- Provide 24/7 support as needed to troubleshoot equipment problems
- Perform inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements
- Read and understand technical manuals for equipment operation and maintenance specifications
- Always adhere to company policies and safety regulations
- Develop and provide preventative maintenance procedures and instruction to site owners
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Provide assistance and training to workers as needed.
- Maintain documentation of equipment maintenance and repair procedures for future reference
- Maintain inventory control of equipment, tools, and parts.
- Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
- Develop cost-reduction initiatives to effectively utilize materials and resources.
