VP of Marketing
A leading provider of software and business solutions to agribusinesses across the U.S. is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to add to their team. Reporting to the COO and serving as an integral member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President (VP) of Marketing will be the executive in charge of developing the strategy for company advertising and branding as well as customer outreach. As the senior most marketing position in the organization, you will work closely with the sales and product development team to oversee these functions across all existing and new company product lines and geographies. The VP of Marketings work is expected to produce top line results, with marketing efforts raising brand awareness, recognition and loyalty that will ultimately lead to increased sales. As such, the VP of Marketing is expected to work closely with the sales team. Vision, Strategy, and Leadership
Understand the companys position in the marketplace
Determine how and where the company should be positioned in the future
Develop the strategy to drive the organization to that future market position; and execute on that strategy Operations
Oversee the development and placement of creative elements that position the company and companys brands in the marketplace
Work with the sales and product teams to promote the organization through existing and new/innovative platforms
Manage the current and future marketing campaigns to grow the companys products and brand
Collaborate with sales to turn marketing insights into sales
Directing the companys public relations efforts Qualifications
Demonstrated experience and leadership in managing comprehensive strategic marketing and communications, media relations, and marketing programs to advance the organizations mission and goals
Minimum of ten years of experience in a strategic marketing role
Strong leadership skills, experience in project development, excellent communication skills and a high level of business acumen
High level of technical aptitude to maximize the tools and leverage the social media platforms that are essential to marketing efforts; with ability to develop and manage the use of analytics platforms to understand consumer preferences, priorities and patterns particularly through user generated media and how that insight can drive sales
Several years of experience managing marketing campaigns and customer outreach via existing and emerging social media sites as well as through traditional channels *Candidates must be eligible to work in the US as well as meet the qualifications listed above in order to be considered for the VP of Marketing job.
