Sales Agronomist ~ Crown Recruiting ~ Sioux Rapids, Iowa, USA

A very progressive Ag retailer is in need of a motivated, self-driven individual to join a growing Agronomy only location. You will work directly with farmers to promote the proper use of crop protection products, plant food, seed and other services offered at the cooperative to area producers by making on-the-farm sales presentations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. • Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned sales territory
• Make accurate agronomy recommendations to targeted accounts
• Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education and the promotion of new products.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Basic Qualifications (required):

• 5+ years of Agronomy sales experience.
• Ability to work extended hours in-season
• Bachelor s degree in agriculture or related field

Experience with:

• Extensive knowledge of agronomy
• Utilizing sales tools to achieve all goals and objectives.
• Relationship building with internal and external customers.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
