There is a community bank that is looking to bring on an Ag Loan Officer to help maintain and grow a portfolio in the market. The company is focused on taking care of their employees along with being flexible when it comes to the position. They are looking to bring on an individual who has at least three or more years of direct banking experience, preferably in lending, and a proven track record of generating new business. The Ag Loan Officer would also need to have a strong background in ag and an understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities for the Ag Loan Officer
* Maintain a book of business
* Generate and develop new business
* Assist with some day to day bank operations
* Be one of the "faces" of the bank
Qualifications for the Ag Loan Officer
* 3+ years of direct banking experience
* Ability to generate new business
* Background in ag or the ag industry
* Customer focused mindset
* Understanding of credit and underwriting
* Preferably a degree in a related field
