Ag 1 Source is looking for an Agronomy Manager in South Western Kansas to lead an agronomy business focusing mostly on growth in the area working with existing producers as well as growing the companies foot print. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate that wants to expand their agronomy expertise. Whats in it for you:
Ability to work as an Agronomy Manager in SW Kansas and work within the cooperative system.
Ability to manage all programs with suppliers and chemical companies.
Work with fertilizer companies on procurement of all fertilizers for multiple locations. What you will be doing:
Procurement of all products including, chemical, fertilizer, seed. One will also be responsible for equipment purchases.
This client is working on growing and expanding and you will be assisting in making decisions for growth.
Working directly with producers will be key to the success of this role, the Agronomy Manager will work directly on sales with the producers as well. A successful candidate for this Agronomy Manager will possess the following:
Understanding of how to grow the infrastructure of the agronomy department within a company.
Familiar with purchasing chemical, fertilizer and seed products.
Good sales ability and be able to follow up and follow through with producers.
Compensation: The salary range for a qualified candidate will range from $65-85K depending on experience and knowledge in the role.

Desired Location: One will need to be able to relocate to SW Kansas to be qualified for this role.
