Ag 1 Source is looking for 2-3 Agronomy Sales candidates to cover a territory in Western Nebraska. This position will be working for a one of the best agriculture retail companies in the business. In this role as an Agronomy Salesperson, one will be calling on producers focusing on chemical and fertilizer mainly and some seed sales.
Scouting and making recommendations will be part of the Agronomy Sales position as well.
Following up with customers on cropping plans and recommendations.
Spending a lot of time in the field soils sampling and scouting.
Working on putting together precision reports and maps for producers. A successful candidate for this Agronomy Sales position will possess the following:
Solid agronomy skill set with chemical, seed and fertilizer.
Understanding of how agriculture retail works and be willing to promote the company on a daily basis.
Have the ability to talk to producers and get the sale.
Compensation: Compensation will range from $50-90K for qualified candidates.
Benefits: Good benefits, including health and retirement, are provided with this position.
Location: The Agronomy Sales position covers a territory in Western Nebraska and has lots of room for growth.
