- Good experience riding young horses and working cows from them
- Livestock monitoring, doctoring and calving
- Ability to work cattle from horseback, and prefer good roping skills
- Well-rounded ranch knowledge in cattle ranching
- Organization and effective communication skills a must!
- Able to follow directions with little to no supervision, and keeping on task with day-to-day duties
- Self-motivated and proactive regarding upcoming projects and seasonal work JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Ranch Cowboy for this southeastern Montana ranch producer. Looking for experienced cowboy that knows cows and horses. Someone that wants to spend most of their time in the saddle, but willing to get off and fix a hole in the fence if you find one. All work is done from horse back and will be riding young horses. Ranch is made up all of deeded property. Other responsibilities include: general pickup, corral, barn, shed, house, and other structure for maintenance and repairs. Need to have a good attitude, honest and dependable. Need person who's willing and able to jump in where and when needed. Nice location with a good employer. Searching for long-term employee.
