- Prefer good general cow ranch background JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Ranch/Hay Manager for an operation in east central Oregon. Manager will report directly to the Owner and will oversee one full-time employee, so they need to be good working with people. Honesty and good communication is most important. This person will help assist in all areas of the ranch, but the main focus will be working with the cows during calving, building fence, exercise rotational grazing, irrigation of hay production, equipment operation and maintenance. Salary is dependent on experience. Good roads and close to village with K-12 school. Other shopping is less than an hour drive.
