Responsibilities:
* Travel to meet with various clients in the Central Valley
* Scout fields, noting plant disease or pest issues in crops such as citrus, blueberries, nut crops, and others, in both conventional and organic farming settings
* Write pest control recommendations
* Collaborate with other consultants at company on nutrition plans, research projects, and possibly advice on crops you are not familar with as needed
Requirements:
* Pest Control Adviser (PCA) license required
* Certified Crop Adviser (CCA) license preferred/ideal
* Minimum 2-3 years of crop advising experience
* Experience scouting citrus or blueberry fields
* Plant Science or similar degree (or requisite experience)
