- Good equipment operator with routine maintenance and general repairs experience
- Strong communication skills working as a team player with desire to help in all areas of the feedlot
- Experience with feedlot equipment a plus, a farm or mechanical background is a plus
- Be a Team player, take on new challenges, big or small with willingness to accept change
- Need to be dependable and willing to take on responsibility and reliability is key
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to learn, able to take direction and see big picture
- Need to be a self-starter JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Feedlot/Farm Assistant for this southeast Montana producer. Need person who can take direction, be dependable, hardworking and have a good attitude, and who is a self-starter. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term employment. Main position is operating feed truck in the feedlot, but person will work in all areas of the feedlot and assist on the farm and cow ranch. Prefer some experience driving feed trucks, and having experience driving other heavy equipment would be very helpful. Prefer experience driving tractors and articulating wheel loader. Really prefer person to have good maintenance skills for equipment and general feedlot upkeep. Responsibilities include feeding, help maintaining equipment around the feedlot, and may assist in processing and other duties, but have the willingness to jump in and be part of the team in all duties needed around the feedlot and ranch as needed. The ranch also runs several thousand cows too. Some flexibility in pay will DOE and skill set. Location has excellent hunting and fishing and other outdoor recreation. This is a rural area, so opportunities for spouse or kids' sports may be limited.
