De Lacy Executive is recruiting an Area Sales and Business Development Manager to join a market leading company within the agricultural food supply chain. The Group's companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. This is an exciting new role and the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sales targets are met within the Fallen Stock sector of the business and to develop relationships with key accounts internally and externally. The sales territory covers the UK and Ideal candidates will be based in Lancashire, North Wales or Dorset Candidate Requirement
- Possess a strong knowledge of the UK livestock industry
- Proven sales experience, ideally selling to farm
- Excellent customer service skills, both face to face and over the telephone
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
- A good all-round standard of IT literacy
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- The ability to establish long lasting business relationships
- Motivated and with a professional approach
- Well organised
- Full driving licence
- A competitive salary and car allowance, dependent on experience
