Technical Training Manager - Agriculture
Ag 1 Source is looking for a Training Development Manager for an agriculture manufacturer of crop inputs. This role will be a true support role for the U.S. sales force. The successful candidate would be working with the entire product portfolio ranging from bio-stimulants to pesticides to crop nutrition products, educating and training technical aspects of the products, the technical go-to person! This is a new position with a lot of opportunity for you to grow it! What you will be doing:
Training a growing sales force on the technical aspects of new and emerging products.
Travelling the U.S. to spend time with the team.
Working closely with marketing, product development and sales on correctly promoting products through product bulletins, technical sheets and advertising.
Training staff and customers on the competitive advantages of your product portfolio.
Instrumental in developing and implementing new hire training as well as ongoing employee training. A successful candidate for this Technical Training Manager will possess the following:
Bachelor"s degree in agriculture related discipline preferred.
6+ years of field experience working with products from a technical perspective.
PCA/CCA
Strong understanding of specialty crop production in California, Arizona, Florida and the Pacific Northwest would be ideal.
Must be willing to live in California.
