Agronomy Salesman - Kentucky
Ag 1 Source is looking for an Agronomy Salesmen for a location in Western Kentucky.
For someone with good experience working with, and preferably selling, direct with farmers, this is an opportunity to step into a location with a great customer base. They just need an extra salesman to help handle all the business.
This role will be focused on servicing and selling the farmers in the area their crop inputs, seed, fertilizer and chemicals. What"s in it for you:

Building and managing customer accounts to generate demand and increase sales
Providing agronomic support to the farmers when needed
Being a champion of customer service
Building long term relationships A successful candidate for the Agronomy Sales position will possess the following:
Experience selling direct to farmers in some capacity (ag retail, crop insurance, ag equipment, etc. would all be good backgrounds)
Knowledge of seed, chemicals and fertilizer
Understanding of the local crops, corn, wheat and soybeans
A Certified Crop Advisers license would be nice, but not necessary
2+ years of experience
Compensation: This role will depend upon experience, but a targeted compensation would be $45-$65K base plus incentives/bonus.

Desired Location: The agronomy sales position will be based out of a location in West Central Kentucky.
