Feed Yard Manager Description:
An established and growing cattle backgrounding operation in North Dakota is in need of a Feed Yard Manager. Looking for someone with management experience within the industry who has an all-around diversified skill set. In need of someone who is capable of keeping the yard up and going year round.
The company offers competitive pay, Health, Dental, company vehicle, and a portion of beef. There is also potential ownership possibility for the right person.
Feed Yard Manager Responsibilities:
* Must be self motivated and able to work alone often
* Take over management of the yard allowing the owner to focus on other aspects of the business
* Oversee a crew of 1-2 people
* Handle rations, herd health programs, record keeping, processing, etc.
Feed Yard Manager Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years supervisor or management experience within the cattle industry
* Strong herd health background
* All-around, diversified skill set within the industry
* Mechanical aptitude
* Basic level of computer knowledge
