Job Summary:

A strong Fullstack Software Engineer who welcomes both engineering and maintenance tasks. The primary focus will be to implement new user interfaces and features together with automated unit and integration tests.

Specific duties and responsibilities:

Design, document, develop, test and deploy complex, scalable, highly available and reusable applications
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and architects to understand business requirements.
Prepares reference for users by writing operating instructions.
Maintains historical records by documenting program development and revisions.
Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
Code and test programming for in-house software programs
Debug code for existing programs based on immediate need
Conduct end-user training upon completion of software
Implement systems in in-house production environment
Report issues and concerns immediately to Development Head
Troubleshoot system bugs and issues
Test code periodically to ensure it produces the desirable results and perform debugging when necessary
Ensure direct communication over email, chats, and ticketing chain to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
Be proactive, take accountability and ownership of assigned tasks to meet commitments on time and of quality
Adhere to organization administrative policies
Support business operations as necessary
Qualifications:

3+ years of developing software using Java
Experienced in Java EE technologies and in the following frameworks:
Spring (Core)
Spring WS
Spring REST
Spring JDBC
Spring Boot
Hibernate
Maven
Jasper Reports
Knowledgeable in frontend development such as HTML, Javascript, CSS, AngularJS, NodeJS
Knowledgeable in DB related technologies such as SQL DDL statements, SQL DML queries, Triggers, Stored Procedure, Replication, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent technical experience.
Knowledgeable in SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
Good written and verbal communication
