- Excellent Communication skills JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is represent a large dairy operation located in New York who is seeking a Calf / Heifer Manager for their facility. This position is responsible for supervising 7 employees, overseeing wet calves, weaned calves and pregnant heifers. Responsibilities would include health, pen moves, oversee feeding, ordering supplies, efficiencies, cleanliness and making sure daily tasks are completed in a timely manner. Also, examining what can be improved, how to improve and implementation. There would be no breeding or breeding pen management involved. Monthly meeting with the veterinarian and daily meetings with the owner. Excellent organization, communication and cleanliness is a must for this position. ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
