Our client is looking for a Key Account Sales Rep with dairy focus to be responsible for all sales activities in an assigned territory covering the MN/SD/N. Iowa region. The representative will be responsible for increasing product sales, primarily direct, to large key account producers and some with current dealers/distributors, as determined by company. The selected person will educate end users on product awareness and positioning strategies and sell the products they need to maximize their profit and performance potential. Key Account Rep focus - leveraging current industry relationships and previous sales history.
Providing world class products, and product support to progressive minded dairy producers across the region.
Sales and tech sales support relationships with top industry leading production systems.
Problem solving, win-win solutions, driven philosophy of doing business, that leads to you becoming an integral part of the decision making, management group at large customer. A successful candidate for this Key Account Sales Rep - Dairy focus will possess the following:
B.S. degree in Dairy Science or Ag Business Marketing.
Technically minded consultant to direct end user sales background.
5+ years of proven sales experience with ability to travel and manage large territory.
Strong dairy background a must with good parlor and feed knowledge helpful.
Very good brand name within the industry.
Large territory, so extremely good time management, scheduling, report filing skills are needed.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales quotas direct to end users.
Ability to travel 2-3-4 nights per week across large region.
Network of dairy industry contacts a strong plus - large herds, vets, nutritionists, consultants, feed reps, etc. Why should you consider this Key Account Sales Rep position?
