Ag 1 Source is looking for a CEO to provide inspired leadership for all aspects of this company, with a specific focus on sales, marketing, and product innovation. The CEO will provide strategic direction to optimize the companys business channels, implement efficiencies, improve profitability, and create a successful long-term growth strategy for the company. The CEO will also play a key role in leading the sales effort of the company by driving the development and implementation of sales strategies that result in increased sales revenue and create new ways to drive grower support throughout their markets. Oversee the ongoing operations of all divisions in the company. Sets the culture and creates a positive image of the organization by building relationships within the industry, as well as with growers employees, by fostering a spirit of respect, trust and cooperation, and upholding the organizations reputation in the community.
Manage and direct the company toward its primary goals and objectives.
Oversee employment decisions at the executive level of the company.
Lead a team of executives to consider major decisions including, but not limited to acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, product innovation, capital investment, etc.
Promote communication and cooperation among divisions to create a spirit of unity in the organization.
Work with the board of directors and other executives to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies.
Oversee the organizations financial structure, ensuring adequate and sound funding for the mission and goals of the company.
Review the financial results of all operations, comparing them with the companys objectives and taking appropriate measures to correct unsatisfactory performance and results.
Ensure the companys compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
Serves as the companys representative to the board of directors, shareholders, employees, customers, the government, and the public.
Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
A successful candidate for this CEO opportunity will possess the following:
A collaborative leadership style that demonstrates confidence, assertiveness, sound judgment, and a straightforward tenor to interpersonal relationships.
Strategic and analytical ability with a practical, hands-on approach to solving problems.
Structured thinker who can inform and influence at senior levels and build consensus through rigorous analysis and clear communication.
Exceptional communication, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in leading a cooperative or grower/farmer linked organization is a plus.
Proven success in leading positive and profitable growth of an organization.
Ability to lead teams in multiple environments including sales, manufacturing/processing, marketing and product development
A decisive and action-oriented leadership approach that enables the executive team.
Senior management experience food processing and/or food product development organization a plus.
Compensation: Compensation will depend on the experience and abilities of the candidate.
