- Require good computer skills JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a well-qualified Feedlot Manager for this southeastern Montana feedlot. Seeking Manager for 13,000+ head feedlot. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Oversight of daily operations of the feedlot including feeding, processing, and care of cattle
- Working closely and communicating with Management to ensure cattle wellbeing, nutrition, and environmental needs are being met
- Monitoring health of the cattle and addressing issues in a timely manner
- Hiring, training, supervising and dismissing of all employees at the feedyard
- Ensure all repair and maintenance, both on the equipment, mill and the yard, is completed in a timely manner
- Manage operating expenses of the yard; feed budget and animal health supplies, yard upkeep, etc.
